Alpine County is pleased to announce the Biomass (Burn) Pile at Turtle Rock Park will open to the public on Saturday, April 19th, for the spring season. Public drop off will be available on 7am to 3pm Wednesdays, Saturdays and Sundays (excluding holidays). We intend to have it open through Wednesday May 28th, fire weather permitting. Disposal at the pile is open to residents and landowners in Alpine County to dispose of material in creating and maintaining defensible space.
