PAYING OR CONTESTING A PARKING TICKET
PAY YOUR PARKING TICKET ON TIME
- It must be paid or contested within 21 days.
- As a courtesy, if a ticket has not been paid or contested, a reminder notice will be mailed to the registered owner of the vehicle after 15 days.
- Tickets that are not paid or contested within the timeline above, or the timelines noted on the courtesy notice, will incur additional penalties and will no longer be eligible for appeal.

TO PAY A PARKING TICKET
- Online: Pay your ticket online.
- By Mail: Please mail a check or money order (payable to the Alpine County Parking Agent) for the amount indicated on the citation or the reminder notice to:

- Please do not send cash and remember to write the citation number on the check or money order.
- The envelope provided with the ticket or the reminder notice should be used.

TO CONTEST A PARKING TICKET
- Tickets should be contested in writing.
- They can be submitted on-line at www.citationprocessingcenter.com
- By mail, citation appeals should be sent to:

When requesting an initial review:
- Describe why the citation should be dismissed.
- Provide any documentation that supports this request.

*Note: the increase in penalty may be imposed when the second and third conviction occurs within twelve (12) months of another such conviction or convictions, respectively.

Appeal – Contest Citation:
You have the right to contest the citation by submitting on-line at www.citationprocessingcenter.com within 21 days of the issuance of the citation or within 14 days of the Courtesy Notice. If you are not satisfied with the Initial Review decision date and include the fee for the entire amount of the fine. You have the opportunity to file a Notice of Appeal at the same website.
