The Biomass Pile at Turtle Rock Park will be open Saturdays ONLY starting March 22, then resume our normal spring schedule on April 11th through May 27th on Saturdays, Sundays and Wednesdays. The early opening is giving residents an opportunity to take advantage of the nice weather to get a jump on defensible space creation and maintenance this season. The Alpine Fire Safe Council has Greens Waste vouchers available for residents to dispose of greens waste at the Douglas Disposal Transfer Station in Gardnerville. Please see the flyer for contacts in your neighborhood to receive a Greens Waste voucher.
